FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Reaction to the death of George Floyd has ignited a push for equality across the nation, including here in the Summit City.
What started as a push for justice soon turned tense. For the first two days of protests, police and protesters clashed.
Leading to dozens of confrontations and nearly 100 people arrested.
But, come Sunday A change of tone. The following five days, protesters and police starting to have conversations.
Both parties talking, listening, and trying to understand one another.
A start to take positive steps toward equality, understanding, and ultimately trying to change the world.
