Crash between SUV, motorized scooter leaves one in critical condition

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Someone operating a motorized scooter was hit while traveling on N Clinton Street Friday afternoon, police say.
Officers were called to the area of N Clinton Street and Web Lane, just outside of Dupont Estates, on reports of a crash around 1:45 p.m.
They say someone operating a motorized scooter was rear-ended by an SUV. The person driving the scooter was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
At the time of this report, the northbound lane of North Clinton is currently closed as crews clean up the crash.
