Holcomb lifts limits on truck driver shifts to speed propane deliveries

INDIANAPOLIS (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb on Friday signed an Executive Order that will lift certain restrictions on truck drivers to step-up the delivery of propane gas across the state.
The governor cited a fast-growing demand for propane and short inventories in his declaration that, for a few weeks, removes a cap on the number of hours of service a delivery driver hauling gas can put in. It’s not the first time for such an order; it’s happened in past winters, as well.
The suspension of the rules will be in effect until Dec. 10, unless action is taken between now and then.
