Reigning Blackhawk state champ and Indiana Mr. Basketball Furst wins Big Ten Freshman of the Week

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Purdue freshman Caleb Furst wins Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors after aiding Purdue to three victories.
Furst averaged 11 points and seven rebounds per game through the week.
The reigning Blackhawk state champion and Indiana Mr. Basketball hit five-of-five shots in Purdue’s statement, 80-74, victory over Villanova.
