FWPD investigating shooting; Victim driven to 3400 block of Congress Ave.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Fort Wayne police are investigating a late afternoon shooting that sent one person to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers responded to a home in the 3400 block of Congress Avenue about 4:30 p.m. and found the man with a wound they described as “minor.” They believe the victim was shot elsewhere and then driven to the home on Congress.
There was no immediate information on the person responsible and nobody was believed to be in custody as of Wednesday evening.
