‘Open House' sessions to address IU Health plans for Ernst Road site
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Representatives of IU Health will answer questions this week regarding plans for a new medical facility on Ernst Road in southwest Allen County.
The health care provider has scheduled two “open houses” -- one for Wednesday and one for Thursday -- as it seeks to rezone land in the 10100 block of Ernst Road, near I-19 and Lower Huntington Road, for a building that would host primary and specialty care operations, along with imaging and cardiac rehabilitation services.
The forums take place at 6 p.m. each day at Lafayette Meadows Elementary School. Attendees may enter through door 15, which provides access to the cafeteria.
If approved, IU plans to begin construction swiftly. It says the goal is to open the building by the end of 2022.
