Mom arrested in connection with boy’s death on Putnam Street

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - The mother of Elijah Thomas Ross, Jenna Mae Miller, 36, from Fort Wayne was arrested Thursday and charged in connection with the boy’s death, a statement from the Fort Wayne Police Department said.
Jenna Miller was preliminarily charged with neglect of a dependent causing death, neglect of a dependent failure to render medical aid and two counts of neglect of a dependent. All four counts are felonies.
Alesha Miller, Elijah’s step-mother, was charged on Wednesday with four felony counts of aggravated battery resulting in death, neglect of a dependent resulting in death and two counts of neglect of a dependent.
