Fort Wayne FC eager for encore second season

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Fort Wayne FC soccer held tryouts for its second season on Monday at The Plex South.
Approximately, 70 participants from all over the country, including plenty of local talent from The Fort, showed off their skills for the same ownership that helped bring professional soccer to the community, including South Side legend DaMarcus Beasley.
The United States soccer great, Beasley, now leads Sports Operations for the club, as the co-owner looks forward to continuing a hands-on approach in growing pro soccer in the community where he grew to love the sport.
