FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - The battle of the Allen County high school graduates has set the stage for a friendly Super Bowl wager.

Snider High School alum Jessie Bates III -- now a Cincinnati Bengal -- faces Homestead High School grad Bennett Skowronek, of the L.A. Rams, in the championship game this Sunday. With district pride in play, Fort Wayne Community Schools Superintendent Mark Daniel has put lunch on the line with a bet aimed at Southwest Allen County Schools Superintendent Park Ginder.

“To make the most of this historic game, I challenge you, Dr. Ginder, to a friendly lunch wager,” Daniel said in a video posted to YouTube Tuesday evening. “When the Bengals win, you can take me to lunch at Skyline Chili, a Cincinnati favorite. Whaddaya say? Who dey!”
