FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Students and staff at Fort Wayne Community Schools (FWCS) will be repping the Bengals and Snider colors Friday to honor a Snider grad’s first trip to the Super Bowl.

FWCS officials say all students and staff are encouraged to wear black and orange for the Bengals or black and gold for Snider to celebrate 24-year-old Jessie Bates III taking the gridiron in Los Angeles, CA, for Sunday’s big game.

Snider Coach Kurt Tippmann coached Bates in a Snider Panther’s uniform before the Cincinnati Bengals All-Pro safety transitioned his talents to Wake Forest University.
