PFW coach Coffman named Horizon League Coach of the Year, players honored by conference

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Riding a nine-game winning streak into Horizon League Tournament play, Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons basketball received a plethora of individual conference honors on Monday.
Head coach Jon Coffman named the Horizon League Coach of the Year, as he spurred his team into a share of the regular season conference title.
Senior guards Jarred Godfrey (First-Team) and Jalon Pipkins (Third-Team) received All-League honors.
Junior guard Deonte Billups won Horizon League Sixth Man of the Year.
The Mastodons maintaining focus on the ultimate prize, eyeing their Horizon League quarterfinal home matchup at the Memorial Coliseum on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
