FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - The Purdue Fort Wayne’s Mastodons historic season ended in the semifinal round of the Horizon League Tournament in a, 57-43, loss to Northern Kentucky.

Entering Monday’s tilt the ‘Dons were riding a ten-game winning streak, their longest since becoming a NCAA Division I program.

Purdue Fort Wayne played from behind much of the contest, struggling to convert from long distance. PFW, one the league’s best three-point shooting teams, made only 5 of 19 triples in the semifinal clash.

Northern Kentucky advances to play Wright State in Tuesday’s Horizon League championship game.
