Primary voter registration deadline approaching

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - The deadline to register to vote in the Primary Election is approaching.

Residents will have until the close of business day on Monday, April 4, 2022, Allen County officials say, to register to vote or make changes to their voter registration records. Anyone with a current and valid Indiana driver’s license or identification card can register or make changes online at www.indianavoters.com until midnight Monday, April 4.

Residents can also register and make changes at the Allen County Voter Registration Office at One E. Main Street, Suite 176, inside the Rousseau Centre from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. To register, residents must have lived at their current address for 30 days before the election, be a citizen of the United States, be at least 18-years-old on or before November 18, 2022, and cannot be currently imprisoned for the conviction of a crime.
