Former North Side Legend Brooks, Jr. declares for NBA Draft; Eligible to return

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Former North Side Legend Keion Brooks Jr. plans to enter his name into the 2022 NBA Draft, while maintaining his eligibility to return to Kentucky basketball.

The Wildcat junior forward will go through the NBA pre-draft process and test the waters of potential interest.

The deadline to return to school is June 1.

Brooks Jr. helped lead North Side to a state title appearance in 2017 and another regional title appearance in 2018, before transferring to prep school, La Lumiere, for his senior season.
