Komets set for first round playoff battle against Nailers

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - The Fort Wayne Komets are ready for battle, as they gear up for a first round clash with the Wheeling Nailers in the Kelly Cup Playoffs at War Memorial Coliseum Friday.
The K’s will be looking to carry over momentum from the regular season, as Fort Wayne holds a 5-0-0 record against Wheeling at the Jungle this season.
Friday’s contest will be the start of the defense of the Kelly Cup for the Fort Wayne Komets.
Game one of a best-of-seven series between the Komets and Wheeling begins at 8:00 p.m.
