Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo opens this weekend

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - The Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo opens for the season this Saturday, April 30th. The zoo is kicking off the new season with some fresh paint and remodels, a large multi-year construction project, and the return of zoo birthday parties!

Birthday parties are back at the zoo for both young and old! Private parties can now be booked in the jungle party room, found in the Indonesian Rain Forest section of the zoo. Click here for more details and booking.

While at the zoo this season, you’ll notice a large area under construction. The Red Panda Ridge is in the process of being built, and construction on this project will last throughout the year. This part of the zoo is expected to open in 2023.
