Komets knot series up in epic, 4-3, overtime victory at Wheeling

WHEELING (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - The Fort Wayne Komets never trailed and took the lead one last time, 4-3, in overtime of game four to even up their ECHL opening round series with the Wheeling Nailers at two games apiece on Friday night.

A revelation of late, Komets forward Mark Rassell scored two goals, including the game-winner.

Game five at Wheeling is set for Saturday night at 7:10 p.m.

A future game six at the Memorial Coliseum is now secured with the Komets victory. Faceoff set for Monday night at 7:30 p.m.
