Crews work to pull body from St. Marys River at Promenade Park

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department are working to find out how the body of a man ended up in the Saint Marys River at Promenade Park.
Crews were called to the scene just after 10:30 Sunday morning on a report of a body floating in the river.
Emergency crews are working to pull the body from the river, according to investigators with FWPD.
Our crew on scene reported more than a dozen people were at the park when crews arrived.
No word on the age of the person, or how long the body had been in the river.
