Family and friends gather at weekend vigil for Alize Wiley

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Dozens of people came out Saturday night for a vigil remembering Alize Wiley who was murdered in the 3300 block of Cheviot Drive.

Family members lit candles in her honor and held a balloon release for Alize.

Her death was ruled a homicide by the Allen County Coroner. Investigators say Wiley was shot and killed by a 20-year-old man who also died. His death was ruled as a suicide.

Alize’s family says the past few days have been some of the most difficult they’ve ever been through. They say they still have several questions. They’re asking for more transparency from investigators.
