Komets fall in game seven overtime thriller, 3-2, to Nailers

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - The Fort Wayne Komets fired off shots in a flurry in overtime of Tuesday night’s game seven, but the Wheeling Nailers stood tall and made the most of their big-time opportunity to win the ECHL first round series.
The third overtime finish in the last four games of the series left the defending Kelly Cup champs, ultimately, just one goal short of advancing to the next round.
