Mother’s Day Plant Sale returns to McMillen Park

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - The annual Mother’s Day Plant Sale returns to McMillen Park’s Community Center this weekend. The sale hosts thousands of locally grown plants, with a wide variety from herbs to bonsai to vegetable starters and colorful flowers. Proceeds for the sale go toward the Botanical Conservatory.
The sale will open on Thursday for Conservatory members, and then it will be open to the public Friday through Sunday. “Planting experts” will be around to give advice on what’s best to plant for this time of year and give care instructions.
