TinCaps capture series-opening victory against Whitecaps

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Following a rocky two weeks away from Parkview Field, the Fort Wayne TinCaps opened their 12-game homestand with a, 5-4, victory against the Whitecaps.
West Michigan opened the game with a two run lead through three innings before Fort Wayne battled back, ultimately, picking up the series-opening victory.
Game two of the series at Parkview Field is set for Wednesday at 6:35 p.m.
