Huntington’s Pizza Junction Cafe releases cause of fire

HUNTINGTON, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - The owners of the Pizza Junction Cafe in Huntington say in a Facebook post on Thursday that the cause of the fire to the restaurant was believed to be from a 3-gallon pot of potting soil that spontaneously combusted.
The company says the fire began on the back deck in the pot and the start of the fire was confirmed on video. The post says fire investigators believe the weather conditions caused the pot of potting soil to ignite. No one was in the area at the time the fire began.
