Allen County Coroner IDs victim of Saturday shooting

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - The Allen County coroner’s office has identified the victim of a shooting Saturday night in the area of Rudisill Boulevard and Fairfield Avenue.
The coroner’s office says Tyshawn Eaton, 20, from Fort Wayne, was taken to a local hospital where he died just before 1 a.m., Sunday.
Eaton’s cause of death was from a gunshot wound to the chest, the coroner’s office ruled, after an autopsy. His manner of death has been ruled a homicide by the coroner’s office.
Eaton is the 10th homicide in Allen County for 2022.
