FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - On Monday, Northrop legend Walter Jordan returned to his old stomping grounds for his inaugural basketball camp at his alma mater.

Jordan welcomed around 140 kids to the Northrop gymnasium, all a part of launching the Walter Jordan Future Stars Hoops & Standards Day Camp. The four day camp is for boys and girls from ages 11-17 years old.

Throughout the week, the focus won’t solely be on basketball. Northrop’s leader of the 1974 state championship basketball team defines the camp’s ultimate goal as training up leaders with great life skills.
