MONROEVILLE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Blackhawk basketball’s first and only scheduled summer shootout at Heritage H.S. on Friday, as the team competed against out-of-house competition for the first time since the tragic passing of head coach emeritus Marc Davidson.

Braves new head coach Matt Roth says the team used the time after Davidson’s passing for healing, spending time together away from the basketball court.

Davidson passed away from his battle with cancer in May.
