Man stabbed at southeast gas station, police seek suspect

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - The Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) responded to the report of a stabbing at the Marathon Gas Station, 5400 South Anthony Boulevard Tuesday morning.

FWPD says around 10:12 a.m., two men got into a verbal argument inside the gas station. The argument continued outside, police said. When the suspect got into his car to leave, he stopped, got out of his car, and stabbed the victim in his upper torso. The suspect then drove off.

The man that was stabbed was at the scene with non-life-threatening injuries when police arrived, FWPD said. He was taken to a local hospital where he was downgraded to life-threatening condition by medical personnel, police say.
