FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Fort Wayne Police (FWPD) says a man has been arrested in Alabama in connection with a stabbing at a Fort Wayne gas station on July 12.

Police say Kevin Leon Coleman was arrested without incident in Uniontown, Alabama Friday afternoon and has been preliminarily charged with aggravated battery.

Police say on Tuesday two men got into a verbal argument inside the gas station. The argument continued outside when the suspect started to leave, got out of his car, and stabbed the victim in the upper torso.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
