3 injured after Whitley County semi-truck collision

WHITLEY COUNTY, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - One person is in critical condition, two others in serious condition after a car collided with a semi-truck early Thursday morning.
According to the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department, a silver car traveling eastbound ran a red light and hit a semi truck at the intersection of State Road 5 and U.S. 30. Officers say the crash was called in at 5:10 a.m.
One person in the car was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition. Two passengers in the car are in serious condition. The driver of the semi was uninjured.
State Road 30 eastbound is closed as authorities continue to investigate.
