FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Eastside football is eager to blaze a new path, following one the program’s most successful seasons in 2021.

Last season, Eastide finished 13-1 before falling three points shy of punching a ticket to a state title game at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Blazers are filling some significant holes, especially at the quarterback position. Gone are the days of Laban Davis, who amassed more than 3,900 total yards of offense and 53 total touchdowns last season alone.

A new era under center is upon us at Eastside, as Carsen Jacobs and Wyatt Davis step in as the program’s new signal-callers.

The Eastside Blazers kicks off their season against Woodlan on Friday, August 19 at 7 p.m.
