FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - The sunshine has moved in just in time for the weekend and it’ll be hanging around for a little while.

Friday night football will be a bit on the chilly side, but it’ll stay dry. Temperatures drop quickly after sunset, bottoming out in the low to mid 40s by Saturday morning.

A few clouds are possible on Saturday morning thanks to Hurricane Ian, but they’ll move east throughout the afternoon, leading to a mostly sunny sky for the first half of the weekend. Temperatures will max out around 70 on Saturday.

Same case for Sunday as well. Temperatures will be in the upper 60s, around 70 in the afternoon.

We’ll start a slow slide in the temperatures as we begin the work week, but the sunshine will hang around for the most part. A small rain chance will insert itself by the end of the week, but for right now, won’t be a cause for concern.
