FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - The warming trend will continue over the next couple of days, as will the sunshine.

Temperatures will cool off quickly on Sunday evening after sunset. After topping out in the mid 60s, temps this evening will fall in the mid 50s, bottoming out in the low 40s by the time Monday morning arrives. Fortunately, we shouldn’t have to worry about frost during the overnight hours.

As we kick-off the work week, we might see a few clouds in the morning on Monday, but expect a sunny sky for much of the day as temperatures max out near 70 for the high. If you’re fortunate enough to not have plans on Monday, it’ll be a good day to spend outside.

The 70s will hang around for a couple of more days, but our next rain chance looks to arrive mid-week with cooler air moving back in after the rain exits.
