Allen County Department of Health opens temporary COVID-19 testing and vaccination site

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - The Allen County Department of Health is opening a temporary COVID-19 testing and vaccination site on the City’s north side, beginning Wednesday.

The site, located at 3816 New Vision Drive, will be open from noon until 8 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday through January 22 and again from January 26 through January 29, the department said. Both Moderna and Pfizer vaccines will be offered.

The site will offer rapid tests for anyone 18-years-old and younger as well as for anyone over 50-years-old and older that is symptomatic while supplies last. The Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests will be available to anyone, the department said. Appointments can be made by going to allencountyhealth.com and coronavirus.in.gov.
